Mark Van Gorder - Napa City Council

Hello, and welcome to my website!

On November 4th, 2008, Napa residents will elect two members to serve on Napa City Council.  This election will be different from any other Napa City Council election in the past.  It is our first General Election when voters will not only be voting for locally elected officials but also for President, Congress and Napa County Supervisors.  It is clearly an important election for all of us in that it will determine the City’s course for many years to come.

I am a candidate for Napa City Council and have, along with some wonderful people on my Campaign Committee, created this website to provide you with information about myself including my record of community service, values and vision for our City. 

I have included a contact page and would very much like to hear from you regarding your concerns, questions, ideas and suggestions.

Your support is very important to me.  There are three candidates running for Napa City Council:  Jim Krider, Amber Martin and me.  I urge you to get to know the other two candidates and understand their positions on the important issues facing our city.  I hope that after reading my website and learning where I stand on a number of issues, you will also believe that I am one of the more qualified candidates – and that you will support my re-election to Napa City Council.
